Have you seen our team working downtown lately? Well continue watching for men overhead as workers begin resurfacing the face of an East Main building in Downtown Bozeman! Read more to learn a little about what this project means to CSI
With the renovation of the 1888 Nevitt building on East Main, Constructive Solutions Inc., is taking a new approach to downtown construction. In an effort to minimize the impact on local businesses and pedestrian traffic, CSI has constructed a covered walkway which acts as a sturdy platform for the four levels of scaffolding above, while still allowing full access to the shops below, including The Great Rocky Mountain Toy Company, Silver Annie’s and Corx. By per-fabricating the wood and steel structure at their shop, its installation was a smooth endeavor. Within days, the assembly of the temporary structure was complete, and workers could operate more efficiently above bustling Main Street without extensive disruption to downtown activity.
Continuing through November, the restoration of the 128-year-old building will include resurfacing of brick, repair of damaged brick, replacement of all windows, and the construction of a new awning system. As with much of their work, Constructive Solutions hopes to display their unique approach to problem solving that can be brought to any project – in any location.
